Our staff of professional wedding planners is experienced in arranging all of the details to ensure a meaningful and memorable wedding by the sea that is tailored to each couple’s personalities, preferences, and budgets.
Who will perform the wedding service?
Unlike most wedding chapels in Myrtle Beach, Wedding Chapel by the Sea’s ordained minister officiates your traditional, civil, religious, formal or informal wedding ceremony with grace and professionalism.
What are the options for outdoor wedding venues?
In addition to two chapels, Wedding Chapel by the Sea performs both beach and garden weddings. Our grounds, which feature a gazebo and waterfall, moss-draped oaks, wisteria, and azaleas, provide the romance of a southern garden and the appeal of a South Carolina wedding. In addition, we coordinate and conduct beautiful weddings on the beach.
If I schedule an outdoor wedding and it rains, what is the backup plan?
In the event of inclement weather, outdoor ceremonies can be moved into our Blue or Ivory wedding chapels.
Is there a space for the bride and groom to change and/or relax?
If you prefer the tradition of the groom not seeing the bride in her wedding attire before the ceremony, Wedding Chapel by the Sea provides separate dressing areas.
Do you provide music for the ceremony?
Whether it’s a chapel, garden or beach wedding, we provide music for all ceremonies, regardless of their location.
Are flowers and decorations included? Are candles allowed?
The Blue and Ivory wedding chapels have beautiful candelabras with flower arrangements and ribbon decorated pews. Our gazebo features wrought iron benches and lush hanging and potted ferns. You can make additional decorating arrangements with your wedding coordinator.
Do you have an in-house caterer or a reception area?
Wedding Chapel by the Sea offers a reception space which comfortably accommodates up to thirty friends and family members. The reception area is conveniently located adjacent to the Ivory and Blue wedding chapels. From hors d’oeuvres and vegetable or cheese trays to ice sculptures and full-course meals, the Wedding Chapel staff bring years of experience and attention to detail to the planning of every Myrtle Beach wedding reception.
Is wedding photography included? Where will you take photographs?
Wedding Chapel by the Sea provides you with a professional photographer to capture your wedding day. We use a Nikon professional D series digital camera with 10.2-mega pixels to shoot your wedding as well as your wedding photos in front of our waterfall, gazebo, gardens, chapels or on the beach. Our Myrtle Beach wedding packages offer a variety of options to preserve your wedding memories.
How can I share my wedding album with friends and family?
Wedding Chapel by the Sea offers an online password-protected photograph album. Anyone with whom you share your personal password can access the online wedding album to view the photography or order high-quality prints.
Are wedding videos available?
Whether your wedding is in one of our Myrtle Beach wedding chapels, in our garden gazebo, or on our beachfront wedding site, Wedding Chapel by the Sea captures every moment of your wedding ceremony with multiple cameras simultaneously. To prevent any shaky or unstable images, we never use handheld video cameras. The Ivory Chapel and our garden gazebo both feature three professionally mounted video cameras. Tripods are used on three cameras for weddings at the beach and in our Blue Chapel.
Wedding Chapel by the Sea’s videos are professional in quality and not just home movies. With our digital video system, we edit the footage from the multiple camera angles into a high quality heirloom. And we also provide a video photo montage set to music.
