Barney Curtis Owens and Sherri Rochelle Mims, both of North Carolina, were united in marriage in front of family and friends on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Their ceremony was held in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea. Reverend Pam Muise officiated.
Sherri is the daughter of Thomas Jones and Janice Squires.
Barney’s parents are deceased. He was raised by his 5 sisters.
Sherri’s Maid of Honor was Jennifer Anderson of Charlotte, NC. and her Bridesmaid was Shederia Mims of Bayboro, NC.
Barney’s Best Men were De’Ondre Owens and Justin Koonce.
The Happy Couple hosted their reception at Golden Corral in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Barney and Sherri will make their home in New Bern, NC.
