Edwina Chantéa McCain, originally of Asheboro, NC and Marcus Reginald Culp, originally of Rockhill, SC were united in marriage on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea in front of Family and Friends. The Reverend Pam Muise officiated at their New Year’s Eve wedding ceremony.
Chantéa is the daughter of Edward Lee McCain (deceased) and Margaret Hodges McCain and the granddaughter of paternal grandmother Bertha Goss, paternal grandfather Paul Butler (deceased) and maternal grandmother Elnora Newsome. Marcus is the son of Reginald and Emma Jean Culp and the grandson of paternal grandmother Bernice McClanahan (deceased), paternal grandfather Ray McClanahan, paternal grandparents John and Janie Culp, maternal grandmother Mahalia Beatrice Lewis (deceased) and maternal grandfather Isaac Williams.
Chantéa’s attendant was maid of honor Tera Freeman of Simpsonville, SC. Marcus’ attendant was best man Derrick Scott of Jacksonville, Florida.
Marcus and Chantéa will make their home in Austin, Texas..
