We are pleased to announce the wedding of Charles Lee Brown, originally of Moss Point, MS, and Christine Moniquie Jones, originally of Trenton, NJ, on Saturday, June 19, 2021. The ceremony was held in front of family and friends in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea. The Reverend Pam Muise officiated.
Charles is the son of James Brown and Barbara Webb and the grandson of George and Nova Hopkins.
Christine is the daughter of Linwood Jones and Patricia Jones-Baxter and the granddaughter of Leroy and Lola Baxter.
Christine was escorted down the aisle by her brother Linwood Jones. Jr. Her Maid of Honor was Charlene Richardson of Tallahassee, Florida. Her Bridesmaids were Destiny T. Jones, Nubiana S. Trent and Identity Jones – all of Columbia, SC. The Flower Girl was Egypt Thompson of Columbia, SC.
Charles’ Best Man was Jimmy Jones Jr of Trenton, NJ. His Groomsmen were Steven Jones of Trenton, NJ and Eric Trent of Columbia, SC. The Ring Bearer was Lamont Hampton of Columbia, SC.
Charles and Christine will make their home in Irmo, sc.
