Dewayne D. McAllister, originally of Charlotte, NC, and Vanessa P. Goodwin, originally of Rock Hill, SC, were united in marriage in front of family and friends in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea on Saturday, July 17, 2021. The Reverend Pam Muise officiated.
Vanessa is the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Annie P. Zeigler and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lucious and Margeret Pelzer.
Dewayne is the son of Mrs. Mary Ann McAllister Peoples and the late John Peoples.
Vanessa graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkerson High School and Centura College. She is a Scheduling Specialist for Receivable Solutions.
Dewayne graduated from Lamar High School and is a former Marine. He has been a long distance truck driver for over 30 years.
