Jocelin Anissa McAllister of Garner, North Carolina and Andre Gibbs of Brooklyn, New York were united in marriage on January 11, 2013 at Wedding Chapel by the Sea in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Dr. Terrence Grainger officiated. A reception followed at Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of the late Rev. Theodore McAllister, Jr. and Rev. Freddie M.F. McAllister. The bride’s attendants were Miss Jacinth McAllister of Garner, North Carolina and Mrs. Septilyn G. Murray of Raleigh, North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Ms. Barbara J. Gibbs. The groom’s attendants were Charles J. Williams of Brooklyn, New York and Jalon D. Smith of Raleigh, North Carolina.
The bride holds a BA in Human Services from Peace College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is currently employed at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina in the Oncology Department.
The groom attended Brockport University in New York and works for AT&T in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, the couple will reside in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
