Brittany Marie Hackler of Statesville, North Carolina and Robert Franklin Higgins of Boone, North Carolina were united in marriage July 4, 2014 at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Dr. Terrence Grainger of by Wedding Chapel by the Sea officiated. The bride was attended by Christin Faye Hackler, of Statesville, North Carolina and Stacy Nicole Connolly, also of Statesville, North Carolina. The groom was attended by James Ernest Heath of Appomattox, Virginia and Jeffrey Bingham Geswein of Ironton, Ohio. Parents of the Bride are Grant Preston Hackler and Cynthia Ann Hackler. Mother of the groom is Loretta Ruth Hayes. Also in attendance were Roger Lee Hackler and Bennie Sue Potts, grandparents of the bride. The bride graduated from West Iredell High School and works at Kroger. The groom graduated from Watuaga High School. After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, the couple will reside in Johnson City, Tennessee.
