Jovan Dominique Wallace, originally of Georgetown, SC and Benezena Lenore Washington, originally of Pawleys Island, SC, were married before family and friends on Thursday, March 25, 2021 in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea. The Reverend Pam Muise presided.
Jovan is the son of Marilyn Sheppard of Georgetown, SC and Mark Wallace Sr. of New York, NY.
Benezena is the daughter of John & Joann Grate of Pawleys Island, SC and the granddaughter of Henrietta Grant of Pawleys Island, SC.
Benezena’s attendants were their three daughters – Janasia Morant, Ziyah Wallace and Zariyah Wallace and their niece – Jalisa Grate, all of Pawleys Island, SC.
Jovan’s attendant was his brother – Mark Wallace, Jr. of Georgetown, SC.
Jovan and Nenezena hosted their reception at the Brickhouse Lounge in Surfside Beach, SC.
Benezena is a Graduate of Ashford University with a Masters Degree in Education K-4.
Jovan is a Graduate of Benedict Collage with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
The Happy Couple will have their Honeymoon at a Surprise Location and make their home in Pawleys Island, SC.
