Michael Shields Jr., originally of Hope Mills, NC, and Courtney McDuffie, originally of Dillon, SC, were united in marriage in front of family and friends on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Their ceremony was held in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea. Reverend Pam Muise officiated.
Courtney is the daughter of Janice McDuffie-Mullins and Ernest Mullins and the granddaughter of the late James & Katie McDuffie.
Michael is the son of Emma Louise McDonald-Shields and Michael Shields Sr.
Courtney’s Attendants were Laylah Shields of Georgia, Taysha Shields of Georgia and Shayla Pearson of Parkton, NC.
Michael’s Attendants were Zy’Meir McDuffie of Dillon, SC, Jhy’Meir Cook of Dillon, SC and Corie Cook of Dillon, SC.
Courtney is a Quality Control Tech and Michael is a Supervisor at Sanderson Farms. They will make their home in Hope Mills, NC.
