Rex Orrin Buck, originally of Pireway, NC and Karen Louise Bjornberg-Fowler, originally of McKeesport, PA, were united in marriage in front of family and friends on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Their ceremony was held in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea. Reverend Pam Muise officiated.
Karen is the daughter of Lawrence (deceased) and Betty Bjornberg.
Rex is the son of Robert and Lura (deceased) Buck.
Karen’s attendants were Susan Bjornberg-Smith of White Oak, PA, Crystal Baskin of Nakina, NC and Blair Wolbert (Flower Girl).
Rex’ attendants were Greg Hewett (Best Man), Jordin Wolbert (Ring Bearer) and Ellis Wolbert (Assistand Ring Bearer).
Karen has a Bachelor Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Economics and Business and Administration and a MBA from Duquesne University. She is the Administrative Coordinator at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House in Whiteville, NC.
Rex has Law Enforcement Training from South Eastern Community College. Rex is a security officer with Phoenix Security in Myrtle Beach, SC.
After their Honeymoon in Robbinsville, NC in the Great Smokey Mountains, the Happy Couple will make their home in Pireway, NC.
