Monique Lerae Kennedy and Stanley Alphonso Thompson were united in marriage on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the Ivory Chapel at Wedding Chapel by the Sea. Janice Aniello officiated.
Monique is originally of North Carolina. She is the daughter of Leroy D. & Nellie W. Kennedy. Stanley is originally of North Carolina. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Alphonso Thompson and Ms. Sylvia Thompson.
Monique’s attendants were Kanisha Vinson – Matron of Honor, Lakia Rendleman – Maid of Honor, Moneka Roary – Bridesmaid and Kendall Cox – Bridesmaid.
Stanley’s attendants were Timothy Thompson – Best Man, Jerry Dawson – Best Man, Willie Roary, Jr. – Groomsman and Aaron Anderson – Groomsman.
Monique is employed with the Charlotte Area Transit Systems for 21 years.
Stanley is an Army Veteran and is a Diesel Mechanic with the Charlotte Area Transit Systems.
Stanley and Monique will make their home in Charlotte, NC.
