Jessica Diane Peifer and Bernard Joseph Venesky Jr. both of Shamokin, Pennsylvania were united in marriage on October 8, 2013 at Wedding Chapel by the Sea in Myrlte Beach, South Carolina. Dr. Terrence Grainger officiated.
The bride is the daughter of John A. Johnson Jr. and the late Janelle Diane Johnson. She is the granddaughter of Frieda R. Johnson and John A. Johnson Sr. The bride’s attendants included Karen R. Wolfe, Jennifer A. Johnson, Miranda Elizabeth Peifer and Autumn Janelle Peifer.
The groom is the son of Veronica Marie Venesky and the late Bernard Joseph Venesky Sr. He is the grandson of Frank Venesky, Catherine Venesky, Joseph Paskus and Adela Paskus. The groom’s attendants included Joseph D. Andreas, R. Patrick Johnson, Benjamin Johnson and Owen Johnson.
The bride holds an associates degree in Mortuary Science from Northampton Community College and is employed as a funeral director at Dutcavich Funeral Home in Minersville, Pennsylvania. The groom is a retired Corrections Officer from PA State Corrections and is currently employed at Lowe’s Distribution Center.
After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina the couple will reside in Shamokin, Pennsylvania.
